Um, why? Under what circumstances does CF make sense in 2007? I mean, really -- there's PHP, there's ASP, there's Perl and sixty million frameworks, there's ROR, there's Java, there's .Net, etc., etc., etc. Why does CF even still exist?
My linking to this does not indicate any kind of endorsement of ColdFusion.

I believe that CF exists largely by inertia. Most of the people who started using CF ten years ago, would probably be using something else if they started now. But because they got started with it, and it meets their needs, they keep using it.
