waaahhhh.... i wanna see star wars! waahhhh!
Probably no chance for another week. I can't keep avoiding spoilers for another week!
The following have already been spoiled for me, just by stories in the mainstream non-fanboy media. Don't tell me if any of these are BS, and don't tell me if they're not. I'll find out when I see it.

The movie opens with Obi-Wan and Anakin rescuing Palpatine from the clutches of General Grevious.
There is actually a character called General Grevious.
Anakin's fall to the dark side has something to do with placing his devotion to Padme higher than his devotion to the Force. I hope this is an overstatement, because then the whole friggin saga becomes nothing but a "forbidden love" story. If I want to see a retelling of Romeo and Juliet, I'll rent "West Side Story".
Padme dies, but Vader doesn't kill her, someone else (Sidious?) does.
Vader/Anakin "dies" and is brought back from the dead by Sith necromancy. Hence Obi-Wan was technically correct in ANH when he said that Anakin was dead.
Construction of the Death Star begins (It took twenty+ years to build the first one, and then they got the second one half-operational in short order? Or were they always building more than one? What I get for not reading the novels, I guess.)
Tarkin appears.
The first spaceship we saw in ANH, the one from which Leia was captured and the Droids escaped in the escape pod, appears.
Chewbacca, and other Wookies (first time since the X-mas special, right?) appear.
Yoda takes a serious ass-whopping from Sidious/Palpatine. Yoda's life is only saved by the aforementioned Chewbacca.
Mace Windu is killed.
Darth Vader personally hunts down and kills every last Jedi except for Obi-Wan (well, not yet!) and Yoda. Even the 5-year-old apprentice Jedi.
Sidious is Palpatine.
Anakin is Vader.
